Description: A beautiful very fine or much better banknote from France. This is the C.7=10=1943.C twenty francs or Vingt Francs. The banknote is red with multicolored decorations. The front depicts a Breton fisherman wearing a red jacket and a hat pulling on the rope of a net. The back has two women with a fruit basket and a child to the left and a Breton Calvary Statuary at right. This particular note has the serial number 230223439 and is series C.93. It is signed by P. Rousseau and R. Favre-Gilly. The banknote has a water mark depicting the head of a woman in profile wearing a crown in the white circle at the top left of center of the front.
