1943 One Pound Banknote National Bank of Egypt Large Nixon Signature P22c VF++
Description: A nice very fine or better banknote from Egypt. This is the 15th June 1943 one pound currency note. The banknote, which was issued by the "National Bank of Egypt" and printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. Ltd., New Malden Surrey, England, has a blue design on multicolored background on the front. The front also has a brown circle to the right with the image of Tutankhamen. The back of the note is green with a design showing a mosque in the center. The note is signed N. Nixon and displays the large Nixon signature. The note has the denomination spelled out in the center of the front and in numerals to the left of the back. This particular note has the serial number 988038 displayed three times on the front and is series J/65. The note has one signature displayed on the front center near the bottom.
