Description: A very nice small framed Folk Art drawing in the best Pennsylvania Dutch tradition. This beautiful hand painted piece represents a typical Pennsylvania Dutch decorative drawing on paper known as Fraktur. It depicts two birds, distelfink?, perched on a tulip with additional tulips around it all emanating from a red heart. There is green leaves and a grape bunch as well as blue berries. The small decorative drawing has a legend which says "Live for today; Dream for tomorrow; learn from yesterday" in beautiful calligraphy. A great decorative folk art hand drawing on paper done in the Pennsylvania Dutch style common in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. The hand painting on paper is signed and dated by the artist along the branches in the middle of the drawing. It is framed in a beautiful sponged brown wooden frame and is covered with glass.
