Antique Cast Iron A.C. Williams One Story Colonial House Orange Still Penny Bank
Description: Antique and very nice cast iron bank in the form of a one-story colonial house. This bank is cast in the form of an early colonial house with a chimney in the middle of its roof. The house has a central door with two windows flanking the door. The bank still retains quite a bit of its original orangish-red paint. It is made of two halves held together with a screw. It has the coin slot above the door and right under the roof. The casting shows a lot of details of the house including the shingles of the roof and the frames of the door and windows. The roof itself is slightly curved which gives the piece a lot of character. This bank was produced in the period 1910-1931 by the A.C. Williams of Ravenna Ohio, USA. The bank held together with what we believe is the original screw, which we chose not to open and hence we did not see what maybe on the inside. This bank is all original and retains quite a bit of its original paint. This is a very nice-looking penny or coin bank in
