Antique Large Heavy Cast Iron Trivet Pinwheel Design 1 1/2" Legs and Long Handle

Description: A nice large and heavy cast iron antique trivet. The trivet has a design depicting a 4-lobed pinwheel design in the center with triangles and semicircles surrounding it. The piece has a long and slightly curved shaped handle with an opening on top to hang from. The trivet has three legs so it sits away from any surface, these are ~1 1/2" long. All in all, a very interesting antique trivet with an interesting design to add to your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.  Date: Uncertain but we suspect it is from mid to late 1800s (mid to late 19th century).  Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania.  Size: The trivet measures ~13 5/8" long, ~7" in diameter at the circular portion, and it is ~1 3/4" high at the circular portion and about 2 1/2" high at the end of the handle.
