Description: Beautiful antique deep redware pie plate with round flat bottom and slightly curved or rounded sides ending in a plain rim. The plate is brown in color and is manganese glazed as evidenced by the black or dark brown speckles throughout. The bowl is glazed on the inside but not on the outside. The brown coloring of the plate or bowl has dark brown or black speckles distributed throughout. A beautiful plate with great looking coloring making this piece a great addition to your antique redware collection.
