Antique Mary Gregory Blown Glass Cup Teal Blue with White Sail Boats and Applied Handle Atlantic City NJ Souvenir
Description: A beautiful Mary Gregory painted glass cup with applied handle. The cup, which is made of blown glass in teal blue color has a painting depicting a large sail boat with a second small boat in the background over water. There birds in the sky above the boats and the words "Atlantic City also lightly painted on the exterior of the cup. The applied handle has gilt highlights. The bottom of the cup shows a light pontil resulting from the blowing wand. A great looking glass cup from mid to late 19th century to add to your collection. Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Size: Measures ~1 7/8" in diameter at the base and ~2 3/8" in diameter at the top.
