Description:   Antique and beautiful gold bordered plate made for Phoenix Lodge No. 130 F. & A.M. The plate is dated 1912. The lodge is located in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.  The plate has a white background color and is fully glazed. The writing as well as the image of the rising Phoenix are in blue transfer and are surrounded by a golden circle. The rim of the plate is also golden and has a wide gold band with a thin one next to it. This is a shallow plate and has a foot in the back. The back also has a Manufacturer's Hallmark in green and then writing in blue. The green hallmark is for Porcelain Factory Tirschenreuth in Bavaria Germany, the maker of the plate, while the blue writing indicate that the plate was decorated by "Thomas Maddock's Sons Co., Trenton, NJ" .
