Antique Painted Redware Apple Form Still Coin Bank with Large Vertical Coin Slot

Description: An antique painted redware still coin bank. The bank is shaped as an apple and is painted in dark red color with some greenish brown/red highlights in some spots. The surface of the bank is smooth to mimic the surface of an apple. The bank has an apple shape with a flattened bottom, having a recessed center, on which it can stand. It does have a vertical coin slot at the top starting very near the short stem in the center of the top of the apple. Red and Greenish brown/red in color the bank has a few spots where the color is scratched off and has chipped off, but these are small and minimum in number and the bank still looks great. The bank is in very good condition with some scratches, loss of color, chips around the coin slot, and general soiling. A very nice antique in relatively good condition, which would display very nicely in your collection. Please carefully review the photos presented as they are part and parcel of our description.
