Description: A beautiful antique primitive feed scoop. The piece which is made of a boat shaped tin or light metal attached to a half moon wooden base with an attached handle. The metal portion is attached to the wooden portion with rivets. The handle has a nice dark patina from use and the metal portion shows signs of soiling. The entire piece has been lacquered to preserve it, which makes it look great and gives it a nice darker patina. This is a nice old scoop that is in great condition after being around for what we believe could be over 100 years. Just a great primitive antique piece to add to your collection. Date: Uncertain but most likely sometime in the late 1800s or early 1900s.Origin: Purchased at an estate sale in Southeastern Pennsylvania. Size: It is ~10 3/4" long, ~4 1/2" at its widest, with the wood half moon being ~3" high. The piece itself weighs ~9 ounces. Maker: Unknown. Marks: Unmark
