Antique Unmarked Pewter Ladle with Wooden Handle and Deep Ball Shaped Bowl
Description: A nice antique pewter ladle with nicely shaped turned wood handle and a ball-shaped deep bowl. The ladle has a straight hardwood handle attached to the bowl using a tubular pewter connector which is part of the bowl. The handle itself ends with a round small ball on top. The ladle also has what we would characterize a ball and rather deep bowl which is ~3 1/2" in diameter at the top and is ~3 1/4" deep. The bowl has been cleaned and shows quite a bit of pitting and a lot of shallow dings. The wood handle is a bit soiled and has some scratches and dings, but is intact and solid. All in all, this a nice piece worthy of a spot in your collection. Please carefully view photos as they are part and parcel of our description.
