Breininger Redware Yellow-Brown Egg Sgraffito Flying Angel Play Trumpet & Tulip

Description: A nice size redware egg made by Lester Breininger. The glazed egg is beautifully decorated with a sgraffito design showing an angel flying with his wings fluttering. He is holding a long trumpet to his mouth and there is a large tulip flower in front of him. The egg is yellow in color on top with the design being brown in color. The bottom of the egg has a flattened base and is brown in color. The egg is signed "LB 96" for Lester Breininger 1996 on the flat surface where it sits. This is a very nice redware egg with a beautiful design and colors. The egg is entirely glazed and looks great.
