Breininger Redware Yellow Egg Sgraffito Flying Angel Play Trumpet Stars and Music

Description: A nice size redware egg made by Lester Breininger. The glazed egg is beautifully decorated with a sgraffito design showing an angel flying with his wings fluttering. He is holding a trumpet to his mouth and there are musical notes all around him. The angel is wearing a long yellow robe with wide sleeves, There are stars and blue clouds all around. The egg is yellow in color on top with the outline of the design being brown in color. The bottom of the egg has a flattened base and is brown in color. The egg is signed "LB 96" for Lester Breininger 1996 on the flat surface where it sits. This is a very nice redware egg with a beautiful design and colors. The egg is entirely glazed and looks great.
