Breininger Redware Yellow-Brown Egg Sgraffito Christmas Angel Heart Shaped Body

Description: A nice size redware egg made by Lester Breininger. The glazed egg is beautifully decorated with a sgraffito design showing a Christmas angel flying with his body or chest is in the shape of a heart. The angel has wings on his back and he is by scroll work. The egg is yellow in color with the angel outlined in brown and his body is colored in orange and light blue. The bottom of the egg has a flattened base and is brown in color. The egg is signed "LB 96" for Lester Breininger 1996 on the flat surface where it sits. This is a very nice redware Christmas egg with a beautiful design and colors. The egg is entirely glazed and looks great.
