Limoges France Hand Painted Small Trinket Box Having Pink Pig Standing on Lid

Description: A beautiful rectangular-shaped with rounded corners hand painted porcelain trinket box from Limoges France. The box has hinged lid with the hinge equipped with a flattened center to serve as a stopper to allow the box's lid to stand in vertical position when opened. The lid has a pink pig standing on all four with its head facing side way on top over a green colored background. This very colorful box has a hinged lid. Both top and bottom of the box are fitted with brass rings having a hinge on the back and a locking thumb piece in the form of a flower attached to the front of the top portion. The box has a rectangular bottom also colored in light green on the sides and having the origin written in beautiful black cursive calligraphy on the white bottom.
