Antique Mr. Punch the Clown Brass Figural Match Safe Matchsafe Vesta

Description:  Antique figural match safe or vesta made of brass.  This match safe is shaped in the form of the famous clown Mr. Punch with his pointy hat, long nose and long chin. The piece has a small round bottom which acts as the base for it to stand on and is also the lid to the matchsafe. It has a striker on the bottom of the base and of course the lid is hinged. The match safe has no markings as to the maker's name. This antique match safe was most likely made in the USA in the late 1800's or early 1900's.
