ZEISS IKON Contessa LKE 35 Millimeter SLR Camera Zeiss Tessar 2.8/50 Lens W/Case

Description: Offered here is Zeiss IKON Contessa LKE 35mm film SLR camera. This particular model is a fairly simple compact camera. It was in production in the period 1963-1965. This particular camera is equipped with a Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/50 number 3399201 lens. The camera comes with what we believe is its original brown leather case which is disconnected or cut into two halves. The camera came directly from its original owner who indicated that the camera works. However, we did not test the camera with a film. The shutter appears to work as it is supposed to, and the film advancing lever woks too. It is clean except for the back of the exterior which appears to have has tape on it which was removed but still left signs of its existence.
