D-Back Crabs

The D-Back Crab is a defensive, fighting crab with a big profile to trigger unmistakable reactions from trophy size permit, bonefish, triggers and redfish. The large claw waves like a big middle-finger and taunts permit to take a swipe. The flat rubber legs are knotted and tied under the Crab-Tab body to realistically grab the bottom and move independently. Our Crab-Tab bodies are made from 100% recycled water bottles and give a natural transparency and buoyancy.  I chose the new Umpqua X-Series XH506 Flats Jig hook #2 as the perfect hook to compliment the design. These hooks guarantee a perfect keel and upward hookset that sinks into the hardest crushers in the ocean.  The extra heavy wire jig-hook, medium lead eyes and color-matching epoxy belly help get the D-Back into the target zone quickly.
