HD Camo Crabs

We wanted to design a crab that could out-fish the already proven Flexo crab patterns that are all the rage these days. By blending different colors of a Guard Hair Chenille from Semperfli, we get a perfectly colored body that absorbs light very naturally and adds to the flies attractiveness when visibility is low. The naturally moving body material and complimenting sili legs bring the fly to life. The hot orange dumbbells add a subtle trigger when permit see the fly. We coat the bellies of all the HD Camo Crabs in a matching resin to give them the extra detail that sets Guide Flies apart. These are tied in small batches and sell very quickly. Starting in 2021, the HD Camo Crab is tied on an Umpqua U401 2XH Saltwater hook and a medium lead-dumbbell with and epoxy belly. This ensures a natural moving fly that swims with the hook pointed up, throughout the entire retrieve.
