Abandoned Fishing Boat

During a summer vacation in July 2014, I found myself on a day tour across the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Seated at the front of our tour van, the vast landscapes of Scotland unfurled before me. Amidst the sprawling beauty, a particular sight caught my eye: an abandoned fishing boat, its muted colors contrasting beautifully against the vibrant Scottish backdrop.The shot was a fleeting moment. We couldn't stop for every picturesque scene, and I had only a few seconds to capture this one as I leaned out of the window of the moving van. Thankfully, a high shutter speed and a keen eye worked in my favor, and the image turned out exactly as I had hoped. The boat, with its worn-out appearance, stands as a testament to time, while the expansive landscape around it speaks to the sheer scale and beauty of Scotland. The photograph serves as a reminder of the stories that lie forgotten in vast landscapes, waiting for a passing observer to bring them to light.
