Free Hugs

During a trip to London, where I was dropping off my youngest daughter for her study abroad program, we decided to explore a bit more, including a visit to Hyde Park's famous Speaker's Corner. Known for its rich history of free speech and passionate debates, I was expecting to capture images of fervent discussions. But what caught my eye was something entirely different. Amidst the loud voices and passionate protestors, a group of young men stood out. Instead of holding signs or shouting slogans, they were simply offering hugs to passersby.I snapped a photo, and "Free Hugs" was born. It's a simple shot, but it speaks volumes. In a place filled with words and arguments, these young men chose a silent, universal gesture of connection. It's a reminder that sometimes, the most powerful messages come from the simplest acts.
