2020 Terres Blondes Sauvignon Blanc, Loire Valley, Vin de France

Terres Blondes is designed to represent the French way of enjoying wine – and life – with outstanding varietal bottlings from around the country, and at easy price points. Terres Blondes (pronounced Tare Blonde), is a collaboration between Martine Saunier (owner of Martine's Wines) and the French winegrowers they have known and supported for years.  Fermented and aged in stainless steel in the eastern part of Touraine. Did not see malolactic fermentation (so no buttery, lactic, creamy notes here). Tasting Notes a great middle ground between the fruit bombs of NZ and the racing acidity and flint of Sancerre.
