Big Red - Da Hong Pao

BIG RED  This is a Da Hong Pao Blend from the Lian Hua Feng area in Wuyishan. Masterfully crafted and blended by the Chen family in Wuyi, this tea provides an exception value for an everyday Da Hong Pao drinker.  This batch was harvested in May 2019 and has undergone roasting 3 times with traditional longan wood charcoal to provide a medium roast.  BIG RED has been roasted and rested, it's ready to drink now or can age longer to mellow out.  Origin: Wuyishan, Fujian, China - Chen Family Tasting notes:  Earthy, Stone Fruit, Slate,  Gong Fu Brew: First infusion: 5 grams / 100 mL / 100° C  / 5 secs                          Second infusion: 100° C  / 8 secs                          Then add 5 seconds for each subsequent infusion.
