Antique Kurdish Runner - 3’1 x 9’8

This Kurdish runner was woven during the late 19th century. It features a lattice rosette ground in stunning tone on tone coral and red that fades in and out and includes the occasional touch of blue. The dramatic abrash and undulating tones showcase the best of small batch dyeing and give the piece alot of movement. With a main border of polychrome shields on a brown ground that is flanked by inner borders of rosettes on both ivory (inner) and yellow (outer) grounds. In very good condition. Edges have been reinforced for longevity.
