Afghan "Moroccan" Rug - 5'3 x 7'

This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in Afghanistan. It features an idiosyncratic pattern alternating between abstracted diamonds, vegetation, and thin smoke-like lines. An uncommon palette of chocolate, crimson and canary yellow on an undyed field of variegated ivory and browns. Woven of hearty, hand-spun Afghan wool giving it durability and extra heft not commonly found in the Moroccan weaving usually associated with this patterning.  In excellent condition, with no signs of wear.
