Afghan "Moroccan" Rug - 5'4 x 7'

This Moroccan-styled rug was woven during the 21st century in Afghanistan. The bottom section prominently features multiple mountain-like shapes in shades of ivory, blue and brown on a rich indigo base. The top section features organic vertical lines amongst wonky circular shapes similar to abstracted bubbles or bunches of grapes. Both sections sit atop a thinly patterned mosaic grid that alternates ivory, brown, and turquoise. Woven of hearty, hand-spun Afghan wool giving it durability and extra heft not commonly found in the Moroccan weaving usually associated with this patterning.  In excellent condition, with no signs of wear.
