Earl Grey Natural Bar Soap

Properties: Bergamot | Vanilla | Tonka Bean | Soft & Sweet About Earl Grey: Although I am not a big fan of sweet scents, the people PROTESTED that I make one!  The problem for me with sweet scents is that they are often SO sweet, that they are sickly.  Not with Earl Grey: this bar is sweet, yet soft, with creamy vanilla, fresh bergamot, and tonka bean. I decided to make a scent based on the popular black tea, Earl Grey, which is traditionally scented using the rind of the bergamot fruit (a type of Asian citrus).  I am also an avid tea lover, so it seemed like the perfect opportunity to combine my two passions! Since we use high quality essential oils to scent our soaps, their magical properties also translate to the skin!  Bergamot helps provide an astringent property that tightens and cleanses skin, while vanilla and tonka bean help sooth. As an added bonus, purple clay not only gives this bar its cute color, but creates an extremely soft and pleasant lather, ideal for shaving! —
