Creeping Charlie Floral Jelly - these tiny mint family flowers make great jelly if you're patient enough to pick them!
Did you know that delicious floral jellies exist? They do, and they're amazing! Delight friends and family with one of our unique jellies! I work like a house elf in the kitchen, every year, to turn delicate flowers into these delicious jellies! While Creeping Charlie, or Glechoma hederacea, is a ground cover that was originally planted in the US for medicinal reasons, Creeping Charlie Jelly has a lovely raspberry-punch flavor with a floral twist! These tiny lavender-colored flowers are painstakingly hand-gathered, steeped into a tea, then a bit of lemon juice and sugar is added to sweeten and round out the flavor. This jelly is a yellow citrine color, due to the color the flowers turn when they're made into the tea. Completely handmade in artisanal small batches, I start each jelly with simple ingredients, and handcraft every batch. Each glass jar is then carefully filled and waterbath-canned according to US national guidelines to sterilize the glass jar and ensure the jelly remains
