While having coffee in a park in Antigua, Guatemala I was approached by Joselyn selling friendship bracelets. Inspired by her unrelenting spirit, infectious energy, and blind optimism I bought them all. Those bracelets are how she was able to gain independence, care for her family, and thrive. This is the first piece we collaborated on using lava stone beads collected from the active volcanoes throughout the country, turquiose, found coral, and vintage coins. Each piece is unique and will have slight variations in the color of stone and a different amulet. Lava stone is known for providing and clearing energy and strength and power. The necklace is 26 inches in circumference.
