Remarks: Black Orange Dorsal (Otopharynx lithobates) are a line-bred strain not found in the wild. Females are gray with dark blotches across their body, including faint vertical bars, the three black spots typical in Otopharynx species, and several blotches near the base of the dorsal fin. Males will turn dark-blue/black and receive an orange "blaze," or streak, from their nose to their dorsal fin. They typically inhabit caves, while females forage for food in the rocky surroundings.
