The raw backside often has an opalized area with a unique rainbow sheen. These run in a wide range of golden color hues and intricate designs. Each one is natural and will have its own individual traits. It is a beautiful example of the Fibonacci spiral exhibiting itself in nature. They sometimes grow with a beautiful opalized sheen around the outside of the shell.
