INTRODUCTION This Infotainment.com exclusive factory OEM Mopar Jeep Wrangler JL & Gladiator JT upgraded sun visor with integrated HomeLink® universal garage door opener. The HomeLink® transceiver operates on a switched source of battery current. The unit will only function when the ignition is ON for security purposes. For more information on the features, programming procedures and operation of the HomeLink® transceiver, see the owner's manual in the vehicle glove box. Each of the three HomeLink® transceiver push buttons controls an independent radio transmitter channel. Each of these three channels can be trained to transmit a different radio frequency signal for the remote operation of garage door openers, motorized gate openers, home or office lighting, security systems or just about any other device that can be equipped with a radio receiver in the 280 to 435 MegaHertz (MHz) frequency range for remote operation. The transceiver is capable of operating systems using either rolling code or non-rolling code technology. The system will not transmit operating signals if the Vehicle Theft Security System is armed. Our kit includes the security gateway module bypass and the OBD Genie C-XGD programmer which will enable the "XGD : Universal Garage Door Opener" option code within the Jeep's body control module.
