Original German WWII MP44 STG 44 Sturmgewehr Cutaway Receiver Display Gun

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very interesting MP44 STG44 Display Gun, constructed using an original receiver which has had the entire left side rear of the barrel bushing removed. It has been set up as a "display cutaway", showing the interior structure, and has had some of the cuts highlighted in red. The barrel has had the chamber completely welded up, and the internal machined portion of the receiver is mostly cut away. The lower frame / trigger group does not look to have been altered, but we cannot guarantee functionality. The fire selector and safety still move, and the trigger still pulls. The but stock can still be removed, and is in great shape. We have included a cast zinc display magazine to complete the look, though while it holds solidly it does not "lock" into the magazine well.
