This is an exceptional STG 44 with original German WW2 manufactured parts built using 60% of original receiver that has been assembled along with solid steel bar stock into a BATF approved non-firing inert display gun! Called the Sturmgewehr 44 it was considered by many to be the original pattern for the modern assault rifle, the MP44 was developed to give German troops fighting in Russia a means of delivering large volumes of fire at the seemingly endless supply of Soviet troops. This sample is in excellent condition bearing original serial number 9930, multiple Waffenamt Codes and is dated 1945. Meaning this was one of the very last STG44s ever produced! It was such a late production that this is one of the most uncommon ones indicated by the fact that the barrel muzzle is not threaded. Both the receiver and trigger group have inspection stamps.
