Antique Cabochon Orange Coral Gems Filigree Brooch Beautiful 800 Silver I have for sale a lovely round approx 1 1/2" 800 filigree silver and burnt orange (reddish) coral brooch. It is just not likely you will find a comparable quality piece at this price. As you can see from the photographs this piece has been expertly crafted with fine filigree work throughout. Most likely of Italian or Greek design, there is what looks to be a faint and hard to read mark on the clasp - I just cannot make it out. Very faint. The pin mechanism is in the style of early 1900's time period and is very sturdy and suggests the brooch was manufactured circa 1920's time period. There are a total of 9 burnt orange cabochon coral gems measuring an estimated 4mm x 2.5mm. This brooch is in very good condition showing only expected signs of wear. This item has not been polished due to differing preferences - the patina really is quite nice. This piece weighs a total of 8.9 grams. The piece is appropriately marke
