Description Green Tea, Loose Leaf New Crop A fragrant tea from the famed Chiran green tea growing area that when still warm yields a lovely tasting liquid that is uncommonly fresh, clean, and sweet. As it cools a very mild pleasant astringency begins to dominate the taste. The second brew offers a very mild sweetness with no trace of bitterness. Chiran Sencha is indicative of Japanese green tea at its finest.  We have limited version of premium version of this tea here. Heat the water to 80C (180F) and brew for one minute. Second Infusion: Brew with the same temperature water as the first infusion but for only a few seconds
