Antique French Louis Philippe Commode with Belgian Marble Top & Mahogany Veneer

This is an antique French Louis Philippe mahogany veneer commode with five drawers and a Belgian marble top. The main body of the chest has three drawers, as well as a narrow drawer at the very bottom (between the legs) and the very top. The bottom drawer does not have pulls and is opened by pulling on the outside edges. The upper four drawers use a key-pull to open and two keys are included. Some additional features of this beautiful chest of drawers are the divided top drawer (shown) and the unique double bullnose finish to the edge of the honed marble top.   This piece measures 50"W x 23"D x 37.25"H. The marble is approximately 2cm thick. The marble does show some surface wear, but the coloring disguises most to the eye. No major blemishes present. The veneer is in good condition, with some minor surface wear present.
