Donegal Sweater in Atlantic

These Donegal yarns, named after the remote Irish county where they were woven, turn a classic crewneck into a canvas for rich textures and colors. Australian merino wool fibers are woven in Donegal, Ireland, where they take on their iconic speckled appearance. The yarn then travels to a family-owned factory in Scotland that has been an industry leader for over 100 years. There, the sweaters are knit in a “fully fashioned” method—a traditional technique that results in a completely seamless garment.  The flecked yarns in this sweater capture the colors of a choppy sea—drops of white and black peek through the shades of blue, creating a dynamic wave of color.
