Kit Cottontail

Standing at about 4" tall (or 5.25" if you count the ears) is Made Cozy's take on a traditional mohair baby rabbit toy. In the winter of 2024 we designed our first toy, Aster Cottontail, that inspired Made Cozy's transition to focusing on toymaking. Now, at the end of 2025, we are preparing for Made Cozy to go on maternity leave and it felt only appropriate to design a baby version of the first bunny we made.  This is Kit Cottontail! Kit is made of 100% mohair fabric with a pale lavender linen belly. The ears are made from 100% cotton velvet in deep green and have little folds to give them the rounded shape that baby bunnies tend to have. Their faces are hand embroidered and they are stuffed with 100% wool ethically sourced from US farms.
