Miniature Patchwork stockings: Red Flannel

Even our dolls and teddy bears need a stocking to hang up this holiday season. We made these with just as much attention to detail as we would a full sized stocking. They are patchworked with 3 fabrics, lined with a printed Japanese cotton and finished with a silk ribbon for hanging.  These stockings were inspired by the long and skinny Christmas stockings that were popular in the 1920s. These little red stockings have a houndstooth cotton flannel as their main fabric, a yarn dyed linen for the toe, and a Japanese printed cotton for the top and lining. Specs: 100% linen fabric (yarn dyed) 100% cotton Japanese printed fabric 100% cotton brushed flannel fabric 100% silk ribbon (please note we use a variety of browns and reds) 5 1/2" long (fits a candy cane perfectly)
