Ka‘ū Coffee Crunch

We use cacao grown from our own Ua Hānai Orchards, just outside Hilo town along the Hamakua Coast, where the volcanic soils paired with our special fermenting and aging processes (like with wine) produce a rich, fruit forward flavor palate. This bar features our 70% Dark or 55% Dark Milk, which is still a milk chocolate, but with much less sugar than other big name brands of chocolate. We give you more real cacao with this recipe! The crunch in this bar comes from cacao nibs and Ka‘ū coffee. Ka‘ū coffee is grown in the southernmost point of the Big Island, and has taken the coffee world by storm, overthrowing Kona coffee in many cupping competitions.
