French Silver Mechanical Pepper Mill c. 1850's Beautiful Repousse foliate garland swag with winged Putti  around the barrel of this pepper mill which is resting on 4 Hoofed Feet Monogram crest  Makers mark: Paillard Brothers Paris France Minerva: .950 silver mark  Crab mark: small object guarantee mark on body of mill Eagle mark: small object guarantee mark on bottom flap Dimensions:  Total Height 4 1/8", Body height 3 1/8", widest point across 2 7/8",  Widest point on body 2 1/2" Total Weight:  230 g.                                   id, 60   loc.
