We are offering a 19th Century Sterling Silver Mounted Crystal Perfume Dresser Bottle by James & William Deakin of Chester. 1898. This handsome crystal bottle is in Ball form and cut in a very unique "hand planeshed" textural style. The bottle is mounted with a threaded sterling silver lid featuring Hand Repoussé Leaf decorations, a Face, and Bird. The top of the lid features the engraved letters G.T This bottle carries the Hallmarked Chester date letter "P" for 1898. This scent bottle was made without an additional crystal stopper. The Sterling lid retains the original cork stopper seal.  Approx. Dimensions: Height: 5 inches Diameter: 3 3/4 inches Approx. overall weight: 499 grams Condition: This perfume/cologne bottle is in very fine condition with only light signs of wear to the bottle's base and light denting to the sterling cap all indicative of age and gentle use.
