This Painting sold Through John Moran's Auction house  for $14,950. 10/17/2006 Lot#104 Ernest and his wife founded the La Jolla, California Art Center,  Ernest Pohl was a businessman who did pastel and oil painting in his leisure time.  Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1874,   by 1915 he had settled in San Diego at 4468 Hortensia, Street. he passed way in 1956.
