Burton Cummings "Stand Tall" 1970s Portrait Records Award. This plaque from Portrait Records is presented to California radio station KJOY and was given to a DJ and music director to recognize one million copies sold of the track. The track was released in Oct. 1976 from the album of the same name, and landed in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, while topping the Canadian Adult Contemporary chart. The award has a replica autograph from Cummings as part of its' design. It was owned by David Kraham, a DJ and radio music director active in the 70s and 80s, including at KJOY. A notarized letter of provenance from Kraham is included with this item (see image).
