Joe Cocker "You Are So Beautiful" 1975 Disc Award Ltd - RARE

Vintage and in great condition, this is a 1975 label award (i.e. non-RIAA) made by Disc Award Ltd. recognizing success of the classic Joe Cocker track "You Are So Beautiful".  Written by Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher, the track appeared on Cocker's 1974 album on his album I Can Stand a Little Rain, it became a signature track for the English singer, reaching #5 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. It also charted in several other countries.  It is presented to radio executive Mike Steel of KEEL radio in Shreveport, Louisiana. The award is all original including having the Disc Award Ltd. logo engraved on the gold disc, engraved plate, black felt matte and award manufacturer's stamp on the rear. Remember Joe Cocker (1944-2014) with this original award.
