Bird Bath | Giclée Art Print

Watercolor on Arches watercolor paper. Playing around with watercolor again, I made random shapes on a saturated piece of paper and watched the pigment flow around. I asked my family what they saw in the shapes, and hills and rivers were what everyone said. So I painted that. I used various brushes and techniques to get all the different marks, and I challenged myself to add some impressionistic birds at the base of the hills. Mixing my knowledge of painting with childlike play and wonder has created some of my favorite paintings.
