Amarant Red Organic Cabbage Seeds

Amarant’s stunning purple color and dense, compact heads make it a winning variety among open-pollinated cabbages. Bred recently by Kulturrsaat Biodynamic Seed Initiative in Germany, this purple cabbage is heat tolerant, allowing for early and main season growing. Amarant stores well, too - it’ll still be good for a couple months into the winter. Sweet and creamy when cooked, Amarant is a great addition to all cabbage-related dishes in the kitchen and makes a gorgeous kraut.
