ARAWA: 1922 - Deluxe 1937 One Class interiors brochure

Shaw Savill Line:  A deluxe interiors brochure from 1937 for the ARAWA, Shaw Savill's one-class liner that sailed from England to New Zealand via the Panama Canal. Inside the textured-stock covers are sixteen pages containing b&w interior photos.  Images show the Verandah Cafe, Smoke Room, Lounge, Gymnasium, Dining Saloon, Children's Dining Saloon, Writing Room, Entrance Lounge, a two-bedstead cabin and a single-bedstead cabin.  Some newer bits of furniture liven up the 1922 decor.   The ARAWA went to the breakers in 1954. Excellent condition.
