MAASDAM & RYNDAM - First & Tourist class deck plan w/ photos

Holland America Line: A detailed deck plan from June 1961 for the MAASDAM and RYNDAM twins. When introduced in the early 1950s, they were new concepts - transatlantic liners given over almost completely to Tourist Class with just a smidgen of First Class. The eight-page plan opens to 31". Seven decks are shown in detail plus b&w photos displaying the original splashy Dutch interiors. Tourist Class views include Dining Room, Children's Playroom, Palm Court, Smoking Room, Sports Deck, and the Bar. Not a single First Class pic although the high-snoot class is clearly shown scrunched into the fore end of Boat Deck. Excellent condition.
